Vine
Best Combo
Our vine was the project to show us developing our ideas of camera shots as well as different angles and ideas incorporated into one. It is a small 6 second story that can be interpreted in many ways but is there to allow us to experiment with different techniques and methods we've learnt. What happens in the vine is that our team member Shane, shows how he gets his keys, and gets within his house through the combination of his door and his keys, to finally be back home. This is something that many look forward to daily and he expresses that emotion that most people withhold with a simple vine.
This is the storyboard for the Vine above. As you can see, we had 4 camera shots within this vine, the first camera shot being the long shot to set the scene and notify the viewer of the current surroundings. The second shot would be the close up, this camera shot is to show a small object that can not be seen or not important in any other camera shot. In other words a close up indicates that whatever the camera is closed up on, must be important.
the third camera shot is the medium shot. I thought that in a story, we need to see an actor within the story. This shot is to let the viewers see who's video this is. The last shot is a POV shot, This shot lets us look into the eyes of the character to give us a glimpse of what they are looking at, there can be multiple effects added to this scene like a heartbeat to increase the intenseness of it.
